A nice thing to say

I was sitting quietly on campus eating my lunch when a younger student, 25 or 26 perhaps, passed me and nodded a brief greeting. He quickley turned around and walked back towards me saying as he approached,"you know I learned just to say something when it comes to me."

I nodded, smiling, and said, "go for it."

He said, "I think you're a kind person, you have a beautiful light around you."

I thanked him, bowing slightly, and said, "Namaste."

I don't think he knew what that word meant. :). Maybe he'll be inspired to look it up.
